Are you considering the expansion or modification of your current commercial property or are considering building on a vacant lot? If you are unaware of the previous uses of the site and concerned about the potential hazardous materials left behind, the City of Petaluma offers a program that provides technical and financial assistance to address contamination issues that may have been caused by previous uses of the property.
Site contamination or the perception of possible contamination can dissuade property owners from considering a redevelopment project. The Petaluma Brownfields Program can help address and manage any concerns and property contamination. Please call the City of Petaluma’s Public Works Department at 707-778-4303 for more detailed information.
